The Unconventional Approach to Success: Adding Value Without a Plan 🚀

Hey there, it’s Raff. Today, I want to share with you a new approach I’m trying when it comes to making money and starting a business. It’s pretty different from what most people do, but I think it might just be the key to finding true success and fulfillment. 🔑

The Common Path to Making Money 💰 Usually, when people want to start a business or make money, they look for opportunities where they can get paid. They find a need in the market, come up with a plan to fill that need, and then execute that plan. And don’t get me wrong, this approach can definitely work - it has for a lot of people. But for me, it just hasn’t quite panned out. 🤷‍♂️

A New Way of Thinking 🧠 So, I’ve decided to flip the script. Instead of focusing on how I can make money, I’m asking myself, “Where can I add the most value?” I’m not worrying about the paycheck or the grand plan. I just want to help people and create something meaningful. 🌟

I know what you might be thinking: “But Raff, how are you going to pay the bills?” And trust me, I get it. I’m not saying I don’t want to make money. But I believe that if I focus on adding value first, the opportunities for income will follow. 💸

Putting It Into Practice 🏋️‍♂️ So, what does this look like in action? Well, I’m currently living in Bali, and I’ve noticed that there are a lot of solo entrepreneurs and creators here who are working on their own thing. And as amazing as that is, it can also be really tough. It’s easy to get stuck in your head, procrastinate, and let fear hold you back from creating your best work. 😰

That’s where I come in. I’ve started running a free weekly workshop to help these creators overcome their blocks and bring their ideas to life. And the thing is, I’m not doing it for the money. I don’t even have a plan for how I’ll monetize it. I’m doing it because I genuinely want to help people succeed. 🤗

The Power of Giving Freely 🎁 Now, I know what you might be thinking: “If you’re not getting paid, won’t you just half-ass it?” But here’s the thing - when I’m not focused on money, I’m actually more motivated to give it my all. I’m not doing it for a paycheck, so my effort isn’t tied to how much I’m making. Instead, I’m doing it because I care about the work and the people I’m helping. 💖

And you know what? It feels really good. Seeing people have breakthroughs, start creating, and chase their dreams is so rewarding. And when they express their gratitude, it means more to me than any amount of money could. 🙏

The Bottom Line 💡 So, that’s the approach I’m taking - adding value first and trusting that the money will follow. It’s not about working for free forever, but about focusing on the work that matters and letting the opportunities for income reveal themselves. 💫

I’m excited to see where this unconventional path takes me, and I’ll be sure to keep you all updated on my journey. In the meantime, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Have you ever tried anything like this? Let me know in the comments below. 👇

And if you know anyone who might benefit from this perspective, feel free to share this post with them. Let’s start a conversation about redefining success and finding fulfillment in the work we do. 🗣️

Until next time, keep creating and adding value to the world! ✌️
